Evening all,
Well the Easter hols are over and it's back to the school run tomorrow. I was hoping for some nice weather today and I suppose there was some sunshine and it was about 10 degrees warmer than it has been but it was spoilt by the gale force wind and the April showers. My washing thought it was doing the Okey Cokey ( in , out .... Lol).
I was asked this week to decorate a notebook for a secretary who is retiring and so this seemed the perfect time to ink up a new stamp set that was delivered this week - Established Elegance. This is one of those sets that for some reason I have always skimmed past during my catalogue drooling sessions but I recently had a 'lightbulb moment' and now I've got lots of plans for it.
Just the thing for a secretary ? Sorry the picture is not great but I think you get the idea. If you pop over to my Facebook page you will see something else I've made with this set - love it already !

Dress Up Framelits
Hello all,
Hope you are all enjoying the Easter holidays. On Saturday we had a trip North and Hubby and Sophie went to see the Wolves lose at Bolton and Isabel and I spent the day at the Trafford Centre. 'Spent' being the operative word lol - but I know who enjoyed their day more !
At least all the snow has finally gone from our garden although there is still the odd bit left from the drifts at the sides of the roads. Today we went to Bridgemere Garden Centre but the cold wind meant I couldn't get too enthused about gardening and so I enjoyed a look round Lakeland.
Anyway, craft wise I have been playing with my new Dress Up Framelits. If you have visited my Facebook page you will see a card I made there. ( Big hello and thank you to those that have already visited ! ) Todays card is made from the 'negative waste' left after die cutting for the first card- definitely not waste ! The dress has been stamped with the Elements of Style stamps and the green border is cut from the lovely Tea for Two papers.

Having a lot of fun with these and haven't even started playing with the dresses yet !

Easter Greetings
Happy Easter everyone !
Hope you are all enjoying the holiday and haven't eaten too much chocolate ! At least it hasn't snowed here yet today !
Sorry my blogging has become more infrequent, I am not sure if I am 'talking' to myself and have thought that no one would notice if I missed a few posts. Anyway, in order to try something different and try to restore my enthusiasm I have set up a Facebook business page so click here and take a look. I will try to post some 'exclusive' pictures so please like and leave me a comment.
Todays picture is a little Creme egg holder that I saw on Jules blog and designed by Angela.
Cute isn't it ? And the Creme egg is still inside - but only because I don't like them !
Right off to (try to) update my Facebook page. I have even done this without my trusty technology helper although I have been reading a book called 'Facebook for Grown Ups ' lol ! Please send me some encouragement. Enjoy the rest of the holiday x

Doing something (not so) funny for money !
Evening all,
Hope you are all okay ? We have had a stressful few days as on Wednesday Isabel tripped over a bag in the cloakroom at school and we ended up in A &E !
Several hours later we found out that she had fractured her arm and she had a temporary cast put on. Yesterday we spent another 4 hours at the fracture clinic and she was given gas and air while they manipulated the bone back in place. She was so brave and the doctor said she had seen grown men cry having this done. She chose a purple cast - they didn't do Pool Party lol !
Anyway she was desperate not to miss Comic Relief day at school today and decided to use her misfortune to benefit others. She asked her friends to sign her cast for a donation, bless her.
This is her dressed up and ready to go to school this morning

Happy Mother's Day !
I was up bright and early this morning as I always am on a Sunday morning to do the dreaded ironing whilst everyone is still asleep and was greeted by a lovely surprise. Isabel had made me 12 cupcakes and the flowers decorating each one formed a letter , spelling out Happy Moms Day - Bless !
We have been out visiting Moms today and I forgot to take photos of the cards but the following are a birthday version of the design I did for my Mom................
Colours are Crumb Cake and Perfect Plum, the feature butterflies are from Kindness Matters stamp set and the designer paper is from the Twitterpated pack
Now I just LOVE these little boxes ! You get 4 for £2.75 and they are really sturdy, assembled in seconds and ready to decorate ! I think I order some of these every time I order. The flower on top has been made using the Fancy Flower punch.
Yesterday I mentioned to Sophie I was thinking of setting up a business Facebook page and might need her IT expertise. She said she would be happy to help until I asked if she would 'like' my page.
At this point she rolled her eyes and said she didn't want her news feed clogged up with me rambling on about Cookie Crumble and Creamy Cappuccino ! Isabel staring giggling and corrected her that it was Crumb Cake and Early Espresso lol ! Guess which one is the Stampin Up fan ?
Anyway the page isn't done yet but I'll let you know when....
Hope you have all had a very Happy Mother's Day and I am very thankful for both of my beautiful, talented daughters x

Bundle of love
Evening all,
Hope you've all managed to enjoy some of the recent Spring sunshine. Lets us believe there is light at the end of the tunnel ! I have even ventured out to cut the lawn this weekend and its lovely to see some bulbs flowering in the garden.
Recently my next door neighbours had a long awaited baby boy and this is the personalised card I made for him..............
Colours are Marina Mist, Bashful Blue and Crumb Cake and stamps from Bundle of Love and Letter It. I also made a picture for him to hang in the nursery.............
Bit difficult to to avoid the reflection lol !
Nice to be able to make some Tiny Tags and personalise with his name and date of birth. They were very pleased with it and are even going to buy a matching frame to hang the card in too !
I've not mentioned the football for a while but at the time of writing Wolves are actually winning ! This is such a rare event this season I thought it deserved a mention. Hope I don't jinx the result, they urgently need the 3 points. Keep your fingers crossed x

Hello and hope you've had a good weekend.
We have now finished the decorating and I think everything is back in the correct room - I can actually see the floor in my bedroom again now so I suppose that means its back to hoovering lol ! Might have some crafty time again soon.
Todays cards are some from a while ago that I don't think I've shown you. Colours are Rich Razzleberry, Perfect Plum and Pool Party............
Stamping has been done with the lovely Summer Silhouettes set- love playing with this set
This time the boat has been stamped from the Moving Forward set and paper pieced with Pool Party designer paper. Like how the chevrons give the design some movement.
This was made using the two tags die and some of the FREE Sale-a-bration sets and inside..........
.....a mini sewing kit, perfect for your handbag. Thank you Liz for sending me these .
Hope you like ? x
