Well my tidying is becoming a never ending project ! As soon as I move something to somewhere else it creates another job - ever wish you'd never started something lol ?

Needed to make a few quick cards today so I turned to the Bella Bleu papers. The quality of these papers is amazing and to be honest blue was never a colour I used much until I discovered these - and now I'm hooked ! They all co ordinate so easily and are so simply elegant .

Do you like....?

Have plenty of space on my desk now but the pile that was there is sitting on the floor waiting for the fairies to come and move it !!

How come the fairies regularly visit my daughters' bedrooms but never my craft room ....?!

Well the weekend's here already ! I have had a very busy week , trying to re-organise/tidy my craft stuff to make room for some new goodies but you know when you start a job and it gets worse before it gets better..... it hasn't got to the better stage yet lol!

Before I forget will show you a few photos from the final stage of our holiday. We stayed in San Diego and one of my favourite things ever were the pandas at the zoo!!

Sooo cute - I wanted to bring one home !

Todays card has been made using the SU Happy Moments set and I have used left over bits to decorate a candle holder. I hate throwing even the tiniest bits away so I have promised myself I will try to use them up rather than keep them !!

Off to carry on the tidying - I cant make anything until I can find my desk !!

I won't mention the 'F' word but CMON ENGLAND !

Oh what a beautiful morning ......! Doesnt the world look better with just a little sunshine ? People are happier too - even Monday morning on the school run was a pleasure today !!!

Back to my tour of the US. Next stop was .....................................

We had great fun driving up into the Hollywood Hills to see how close we could get to the famous sign and we passed some gorgeous multi million dollar homes too !

We spent 4 days in LA and saw where the Oscars are held, Rodeo Drive and visited Santa Monica and Universal Studios.

More next time...

Todays creation came about cos dear Hubby, bless him, had left out an old tin that a belt came in to throw away.

Well I decided with a little bit of decoration it would be perfect to store some of my crafting goodies!!

I love the SU bird cage image and Choc Chip and Old Olive is one of my favourite combinations.

Now what shall I put in it ......?

I also have a card to show you made from Rose Red and Old Olive design papers. I have actually made my own embellishment by sewing (anyone who knows me, knows I dont DO sewing, lol!) onto paper and adding a pretty button. I find it so easy to use the Stampin' Up! products because they always look beautiful together !

Must go now - need to fill my new tin , lol !

Hiya ,hope you have had a good weekend and have managed to enjoy the sunshine!
Talking of sunshine, back to my holiday piccies.....

After San Francisco we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway. The scenery was stunning and at one point we drove around a corner and came across a beach covered in seals sunbathing on the sand. There were literally hundreds of them, an amazing sight !

More next time - now back to the real world. Todays cards are using SU Pale Plum, Perfect Plum and Old Olive

Thank you card- flower has been stamped from Grungepaper and inked with Perfect Plum ink and background created from Bella Toile stamp.
Couldn't resist using the butterfly punch again lol! seriously this punch has so many different looks using different colour schemes. This time I have stamped with background stamp.Scalloped border punch and a paper bow made from Old Olive design papers complete the look .
Might manage to make a card next time without any butterflys lol!!!

No I have not disappeared off the face of the earth but I have got a good excuse for my lack of blogging, I have been on my hols to sunny California !!!

We started off in San Francisco where we visited the Golden Gate bridge , Alcatraz and rode on the cable cars.

After 4 days we moved on - more holiday piccies next time !

Thought I would show you today a personalised new home card I was asked to make. The colour scheme is Stampin' Up Old Olive and Very Vanilla. The stamp is from one of the recent Sale-a-bration sets.

Simple but effective ?

Must go, back soon with another card and more California Dreaming!
