Back in action !

Hello all,

Firstly I would like to apologise for my long absence, I have had a virus I just couldn't get rid off and some treatment to my troublesome knee which left me stuck in bed for 4 days with crutches to hobble to the loo !
Anyway I am feeling a bit better now and ready to do some crafting !

I would like to say a big thank you to all my followers and readers as my blog has now had over 20,000 hits - amazing !!! When I first started it I was shocked anyone was looking at all and am still very flattered by the fact that someone actually 'tunes in '. I must also thank 3 lovely ladies, Anne, Kate and Rach who have all awarded me the Liebster Blog award which supports smaller blogs. Thanks girls you made my day ! I haven't yet decided who I'm going to pass it on to because I had a couple in mind and then found that they either didn't qualify ( too many followers) or someone else had beaten me to it ! Watch this space !

Right Oscar speech over and lets show you what I've been making lol.

Recently I HAD to buy a stamp set, yes I was forced lol ! It was all the wonderful cards that the talented Vicky at Crafting Clare had made with the Everybunny set that made this top of my wish list. I must confess I had quickly skimmed past this set as I don't send many Easter cards but she has showed that it is definitely not just for Easter........... want to see ?

I've used the circle punch to cover the egg part of the balloon and used the Itty Bitty punches to mirror the flowers coming from the basket. Colours are Pool Party and Calypso Coral, fast becoming a favourite of mine.

This time I have used the gorgeous Every day Enchantment papers again and ' paper pieced' the bunny's dress.I have stamped and cut out a couple of flowers from the stamp in the Charming set to cover the eggs in the basket - I know too much time on my hands lol !

This time the egg has been covered by a flower from Boho Blossoms, think this would make a cheery get well card ?
Anyway I hope you like my non Easter creations and they were worth the wait !

  1. Hi Julie

Glad you are feeling better, there are some nasty bugs going around at the mo.

I love your cards, the colours work so well together and the bunny is so cute. I would love to get this set but simply daren't go on Stampin Up website, my bank manager will be after me if I do not to mention the hubby!

    Take care, Rach x
