Last Chance to Sale-a- brate !

 Happy Saturday to you !

Bit dull and dreary here this morning, mind you we didn't get up very early as we went to a 40th birthday party last night- I'm not very good at late nights !

Todays projects were VERY lastminute.com, even for me lol ! Picture the scene, I had bought a bracelet for the birthday girl and decided to make a pillow box to package it

No problem,  as this die is so quick to use, but I decided to use some of the Sale-a-bration paper which meant I had to rethink my card I had planned.

Anyway, this is what I came up with........................

I then decided it would be a good idea to cover a large plain box I had so that Tracey could use it to keep all her birthday cards and mementos from her special day.

Sounds like a lovely afternoon crafting doesn't it ? Only problem was, I didn't start any of this til 4pm and the party started at 7.30 !!!
As well as crafting, I had to feed the tribe, do my hair , get changed etc and also factor into the equation that I am hobbling about on crutches at the moment due to my knee problem and everything takes me twice as long !
This is how the box turned out ...................

Once I'd finished I had a slight panic when I realised I didn't have enough wrapping paper to wrap my new, larger gift- so quickly out came the ink again and I stamped some parcel paper.............

I don't recommend crafting under such tight timescales but I was pleased with the final result and Stampin Up makes it sooo easy to coordinate everything

Hope you like ?

The only thing I didn't get done was paint my nails - but I did go out with Calypso Coral on my fingers lol !

Everbunny Birthday

Evening all,

Yesterday was my lovely little nephew's birthday- can't believe he's 3 already ! Where does the time go ?
Anyway for his card I decide on the cute little bunny from the (not just for )Easter Everybunny  stamp set..........
I made a little pressie with his name on and the balloons are from the Crazy for Cupcakes set. I love how all the SU items can mix and match, I have used Spice Cake and Mocha Morning papers and nephew is from For my Family stamp set.
This is a large 8 x 8 card but didn't take long to do at all.

I have used the Everybunny stamp set loads, a friend asked me to make her some Easter cards and I gave them to her today  - without taking any photos !!  So I'm sure it will be used again over the weekend lol !

Bless You

Happy weekend all, up to anything nice ?

Do you sometimes get inspired by the weird and wonderful ? Todays projects were all started by .................
Yes, I know its a pack of tissues, but as soon as I saw it I thought of Tempting Turquoise and decided I could make a card with one of the stamps from the lovely Simply Soft hostess set................
Couldn't decide whether I liked pink blossoms or turquoise so I settled on both lol !

This time I used the stamp from Fresh Vintage, doesn't it look different in these colours ?
And to incorporate the tissues I made a little holder.........

Even says Bless you on the side. Hope you like my tissue inspired efforts.
Off to wrap up some birthday presents for my little nephew, back next time to show you his card.
Enjoy the sunshine !

Everyday Enchantment Papers

Only a few more days left to get your Everyday Enchantment papers (free with an order of £45 or more). These papers are sooo nice,  and I HAD to have more than one (or two lol) packs !

Today I will show you some scrapbook pages I have made with them...................

These are photos of Isabel when she was 6 months old, you sometimes forget how little (and cute) they were !!
Used the Just Perfect alphabet to stamp onto the circles and quite like the overlapping effect.

These papers all look good together and using the square punch makes a very quick feature. A few frills with the scalloped punch make it a bit more girly !

Oh and I had to use those cute little bunnies again ! Don't worry I have used them as intended and made some Easter cards with them too lol. Must remember to take the photos ........

If you want to place an order and earn these freebie papers, or  any of the stamp sets available on the Sale-a-bration offer please email me at mrsjuliewade@sky.com and I will gladly arrange it for you.

I don't do scrapbooking very often but I always enjoy it when I do- why not give it a try ?

Spice Cake

Morning all and isn't it a beautiful one ?

No snow either like yesterday morning. Hope you all had a good Mother's Day, I did have a post for you yesterday but I've had a few technical problems with the photo so maybe it will appear again some other time.

Todays cards are using the Spice Cake papers and colours and are more masculine themed - I suppose I can't make pretty all the time lol !

Old meets new on this one as I have teamed a couple of retired products with the new Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. The For my Family set is brilliant for personalising family cards and also has some general greetings too.

The Owl Punch makes this a very quick card and the sentiment is from Oval All. Very quick and simple but does the job ?
One more card to show you - the special card my girls made for me................

Isn't it good ? Even a bit of 2 step stamping as well !

So Tweet

Evening all,

We have some birds nesting in our garden and its lovely to see them beavering away backwards and forwards collecting twigs and leaves and that is what inspired todays creation ...............
Isn't it tweet - sorry I couldn't resist lol ! Colours are Pool Party, Soft Suede and More Mustard with papers from the Spice Cake collection.
This is really easy to make with the Milk Carton die and inside I added a few little eggs- chocolate of course !!

And because they are so quick and easy to make , I made a few more !

Perhaps I should tell the birds in the garden they would find it much easier with a Big Shot !

Short but very sweet today, back soon x

Baby Girl

Morning all,

Where has all the sunshine gone this morning ? Wasn't it gorgeous yesterday ?At least it's still mild. Isabel has gone away with the school this week until Friday so if it stays dry hopefully she won't come home coated in too much mud lol !

As promised I have a card for a baby girl today...........

Colours are Perfect Plum and Pretty In Pink and the central image is put together with the Bundle of Love set. It  is very clever how this set allows you to interchange all the accessories.

I also made a matching door sign for baby's room............
Love that little teddy !

Hope you have enjoyed my Baby selection- I'm expecting a quiet week without my own 'baby' !

Baby Boys

Evening all,

How are we ? Enjoying the first signs of Spring ? Isn't it nice to see the bulbs coming up, dry the washing on the line and watch the birds gathering bits for their nests ?

Not that I'm getting broody lol but todays cards have a baby theme and first its the turn of the boys ...........
The bunting is made with the stamp from Party this Way and the matching punch with the letters stamped with the Just Perfect alphabet. The paper is from the Nursery Nest pack and the little duck is from Bundle of Love.

This cute chest of drawers was made using the decorative label punch to 'shape' the legs.A bit of sponging with white ink and Crumb Cake ink gave it a bit of dimension and the knobs were made from the circle from the Itty Bitty punches with the tiny brads. Just add a few, or even a few more baby accessories from the Bundle of Love set ! Isn't that teddy sweet ?

Not long left now to get your Sale-a-bration freebies so if you want to order anything please get in touch asap. Back next time with the girlie versions.

Back in action !

Hello all,

Firstly I would like to apologise for my long absence, I have had a virus I just couldn't get rid off and some treatment to my troublesome knee which left me stuck in bed for 4 days with crutches to hobble to the loo !
Anyway I am feeling a bit better now and ready to do some crafting !

I would like to say a big thank you to all my followers and readers as my blog has now had over 20,000 hits - amazing !!! When I first started it I was shocked anyone was looking at all and am still very flattered by the fact that someone actually 'tunes in '. I must also thank 3 lovely ladies, Anne, Kate and Rach who have all awarded me the Liebster Blog award which supports smaller blogs. Thanks girls you made my day ! I haven't yet decided who I'm going to pass it on to because I had a couple in mind and then found that they either didn't qualify ( too many followers) or someone else had beaten me to it ! Watch this space !

Right Oscar speech over and lets show you what I've been making lol.

Recently I HAD to buy a stamp set, yes I was forced lol ! It was all the wonderful cards that the talented Vicky at Crafting Clare had made with the Everybunny set that made this top of my wish list. I must confess I had quickly skimmed past this set as I don't send many Easter cards but she has showed that it is definitely not just for Easter........... want to see ?

I've used the circle punch to cover the egg part of the balloon and used the Itty Bitty punches to mirror the flowers coming from the basket. Colours are Pool Party and Calypso Coral, fast becoming a favourite of mine.

This time I have used the gorgeous Every day Enchantment papers again and ' paper pieced' the bunny's dress.I have stamped and cut out a couple of flowers from the stamp in the Charming set to cover the eggs in the basket - I know too much time on my hands lol !

This time the egg has been covered by a flower from Boho Blossoms, think this would make a cheery get well card ?
Anyway I hope you like my non Easter creations and they were worth the wait !
