Cake free Cupcakes

Evening all,

I don't think the rain has stopped at all today ! I haven't even ventured out and have been busy crafting all day. When I first saw the new catalogue last Autumn I instantly decided that I would use the Beau Chateau papers to make a scrapbook for my sister's 40th birthday - so how come I only started it a couple of weeks ago and have been frantically researching photos, scanning, printing and finally the nice bit, putting the pages together.
Today was the last day for finishing off and now its all beautifully wrapped with a card to match- and I didn't even take one photo !!!

I do have something to show you though...... cards using the cupcake stamps and punch but not for cupcakes ! I must confess when I first saw this set I wasn't sure if I needed it as I have the Crazy for Cupcakes set but I love how versatile it is. Remember items from the Spring Mini retire after tomorrow so if you want anything get in touch quick

See not a cake in sight,  you definitely need it !!

Colours are Wild Wasabi and Real Red, more zingy than they appear in the dreadful light today.
Better go and find the brollies out ready for the Monday morning school run x

Sneak Peek

Evening all,

What vile weather we've had, can't believe there is still a drought !
Luckily, it didn't deter my lovely Wednesday class ladies and I had a treat for them today- a sneak peek at some fab goodies coming soon. I was even brave enough to use yellow today and I survived lol !

Spot anything new ? These proved to be very popular with a few requests already.

We also used the Charming set as that is one that will only be available for a few more days.
Colours are Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight , Sahara Sand and Not Quite Navy.

We also made a holder for the cards and there is an easy to follow tutorial on Jo's blog.

At least the yellow brightened up a very wet, dismal day. Hope you like ?

Bunny free zone !

Evening all,

I promise not a bunny in sight today, but will be back to a blog near you soon !

Todays cards we made at my Wednesday class a couple of weeks ago and were inspired by the colours in the beautiful Beau Chateau papers.

This gorgeous flower is from the Everything Eleanor set, one of my favourites.
More from the same stamp set. I have used the Two Tags die to make this little favour and there are some mini eggs inside.
More masculine this time using the Young Vermilion a la carte stamp and love that stripey embossing folder !
Hope you like. Have a good weekend , sounds like the weather is going to be perfect for.................crafting lol !

Baby Bunny

Yes, I know it's that bunny set again !!!

I do have a good reason- a friend at work became a Grandma for the first time at Easter. The baby wasn't due until a little later but we had joked that perhaps she would be delivered by  the Easter bunny instead of the stork, and she was !!! So a bunny it had to be.............

So sweet lol ! Colours are Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette

I  DID use the bunny for my niece's card too but I'll try and find something else to show you next time and give Everybunny a break lol !!!

Morning all,

I have a confession to make........... I have completely forgotten about blogging this week ! Please don't feel neglected, I'm blaming it on my routine being all mixed up with the Bank Holidays and the girls being off etc . Hours spent deciding over a large order of new SU goodies might also have had something to do with it lol !

Anyway, hope I'm forgiven and have will try to make it up to you this week.

Over the next few days 3 of Isabel's friends are reaching the grand age of 10. This double digit milestone means they're on the verge of becoming little ladies but still not quite as grown up as they think they are lol ! She requested 'cool' cards, nothing babyish and please don't use that bunny ! (she knows me too well ).

I was up with the lark this morning as Hubby has set off early for an away trip to Sunderland( relegation almost certain now but he keeps going ) so I thought I'd use peace (girls still asleep !) and crack on. This is what I came up with..............

The cupcake stamps, matching punch and the large scallop punch are only available til the end of this month so if you want them order ASAP to avoid disappointment. I don't normally mass produce my cards but these are so quick to do I soon whipped up three

I did make them individual by turning the designer paper over and the other way up for a slight variation. When Sleeping Beauty wakes up I'll check if they're 'cool' enough ?

I've now got a couple of cards to make for my niece who will be 7 on Friday- better go and get that bunny inked up lol !!!

Happy Easter

Just a very quick post today to wish you all a very Happy Easter !

I know Everybunny again lol but I thought I'd better use him for his intended use , just once !
And yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you that is yellow you see ( just a touch ). My girls have noticed that I rarely use yellow and as Calypso Coral seems to have 'cured' me of my allergy to orange  perhaps I should try harder with yellow lol !!!

Whatever you are up to enjoy the holiday weekend, back soon x

Evening all,

Todays cards will hopefully satisfy any sweet/ chocolatey cravings but are calorie free !! If only real chocolate worked that way lol.

Credit must go to talented fellow demonstrators Jules, Victoria and Terri so thanks ladies for the fab ideas ! I keep promising myself a few hours of pure indulgent bloghopping to see what eveyone else is up to but it just never seems to happen, perhaps it can be my Easter treat.

Remember the cupcake stamps and punch are only available until the end of the month so if they are still on your wishlist get in touch asap. Colours are Elegant Eggplant and Melon Mambo- I love that spotty ribbon !

Plenty of punches used here, even some of the waste bits.

Doesn't include a glass and a half of milk, but looks like it should lol ! Bit of kitchen foil as an added extra.

These cards were all fun to make so go on treat yourself and indulge with a bit of the real stuff while you're crafting !
Enjoy the Bank Holiday x
