Todays card is mainly non SU as a cute little fairy was required. I did, however , use the branch from the ever so versatile bird punch to add some leaves. Image a freebie from Pollycraft - hope the little girl likes it !

Tempting turquoise again

Just a very quick post as I'm involved with something else this week which is taking most of my time.

Todays card is Tempting Turquoise teamed with black which looks very dramatic !

Hope you like !

Wow, what a busy week and not much crafting has taken place.
Lots of activities going on at the girls' schools - I can't believe Sophie has just finished her first year at High School ! It only seems five minutes since she was leaving primary school.

I was very proud at her presentation evening, where she was nominated for Pupil of the Year and won a trophy as Year 7 Netball Player of the Year ! Don't know where she gets that from lol !

My 'baby' is going to be in Year 4 in Sept and that means a week residential activity holiday - she is excited already.

Also Hubby was 40 this week and last night we went to a picnic in the park style 80s concert at Shugborough Hall - Go West, ABC, Rick Astley and Tony Hadley, hard to believe 'True' was nearly 30 years ago !!

Back to crafting, I have managed to find a card to show you...

well haven't used the butterfly punch for at least a week !

Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate chip using En Francais, Oval All andGreenhouse Garden stamp sets.

And just so Vintage Vogue didn't feel left out I used the small flower (again) to make some decorations for the cupcakes I made for the picnic.

They tasted yummy too - off to see if there are any left !

En Francais

Hello there, what a beautiful day it has been today, shame its not expected to last !

Todays cards are using the Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry colour scheme. I have used a variety of stamp sets- Happy Moments, En Francais background and Vintage Vogue for the flowers and the vine stamp to create the foliage in the bird cage.

In my quest not to waste anything I also made a little matching gift box with the left overs.

Off to take the girls to their swimming club x

Oval All

Well, Sports Day finally happened today and I was a very proud Mom as Isabel came 3rd in both of her races. Thankfully the parents race is no longer allowed due to Health and Safety !!

Todays card is made with the very useful Oval All set and I have made my own background using the small flower stamp from Vintage Vogue.

I love the stamping off technique - I am even thinking of names for the 'stamped off' colours , lol. Does anyone else do this ?

Thanks for looking and if you do stop by please leave a message so I know I'm not talking to myself !

Have a great weekend and lets hope the sunshine returns soon.

Polka Dot

Sports Day was postponed cos of the weather but at least it meant I had a bit more time to play with my new SU parcel that was delivered today !

I must confess to feeling a little overwhelmed at the choice of all the lovely colours I've now got and decided to keep it really simple by making some baby cards using the Punches hostess set.

For the girly one I used Regal Rose ink and card and used stamps from Vintage Vogue and Greenhouse Garden to create the flowers. I even allowed myself to use one of my precious rhinestone clear brads lol !

To make the background I used the very useful dotty background stamp and white ink to make positive and negative paper.

The boys version is similar but different ! I used Bashful blue ink and card and Brocade Blue ribbon ( couldn't spare TWO brads in one day !!)

Two simple cards and no colour choice dilemmas!
