Colours are Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry. Sorry the En Francais writing looks smaller at the bottom, it isn't I just couldn't squat down to take a level piccie !
Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to change the clocks - an hour less in bed !
Some inspiring ideas eh ? I won't credit anyone individually (in case I miss someone ) but a very big thank you to everyone who swapped with me.
Looking at the stamping on the napkin on the last one reminds me, I have a little confession..........
At the training event we were using a new wheel (all will be revealed soon ) but I got a bit carried away and 'wheeled' Old Olive ink off the page and across the crisp, white tablecloth ! Can't take me anywhere lol ! If anyone asks I'm going to blame Nicky lol !!!
Back soon x
and here's a few of the fronts
Also Hubby got to see Wolves beat local rivals Aston Villa for the first time in over 30 years so he's had a good day too !
Off to add to my wish list - its definitely got bigger after today lol !
Thank you to Paula, Charlotte and Kelly and everyone from Stampin Up for a great day.
Background paper is stamped from one of the flowers in the Growing Green set - this set make some beautiful backrounds and it's so quick !
Flower is made from Scalloped circle and Boho Blossom punches and a few of the gorgeous pearls to decorate.
The cake is from 'Crazy for Cupcakes' but I cut off the candle and used a circle punch to add the cherry on the top. Colours are Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze (again ).
Also thank you for the lovely comments about my flowers and I have found something else to show you .....but very few flowers!!!
The brief was to create an arrangement using fruit and/or veg with very little flower material.
So the recipe for my creation was asparagus, lemons, limes, grapes, curly parsley, cress, baby sweetcorn and some solidago. Confused yet ?
Well the idea was for it to be a fresh, citrus style arrangement with a French provencale kitchen window style feel to it..........
What do you think ?
Surprising what you can make with a few things from the supermarket !!!
Hope to get a few more cards done next week, enjoy your weekend x
I stamped and cut out the flower 7 times in Regal Rose and added a few Old Olive leaves. The sentiment is from Occasional Greetings which is a very useful set. Paper is from the never ending Paper Stack. Couldn't resist adding the Bliss butterfly.
The Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon is now retired but it is still available in loads of colours and is really easy to 'ruffle' .
When I show you what I made at floristry this week you will see where the inspiration for this card came from lol !
A hand tied posy of beautiful roses
Sooo girly and pretty aren't they ?
Now for things less pretty, I'm off to watch Wolves beat Spurs on the telly - well, fingers (and everything else ) crossed !!!
The flowers are from Vintage Vogue and I have stamped the edges of the Rich Razzleberry card with a little stamp from Tiny Tags in white ink to just soften the edges.
Reversed the colourway this time for the opposite page.
It was almost spring like today and I even ventured into the garden and cut the grass for the first time this year ! March already - do you realise we move the clocks forward this month ?
Speaking of March you may have seen that Stampin Up have reduced some items by up to 30% for March ONLY so if you would like any more information please get in touch. Also if you would like to 'Spring clean' your photo collection and turn them into a special keepsake please contact me and I'll gladly try to help.
Here's to the next 100 !!!
