Bathroom chaos

Evening all,

They have started on the new bathroom today and everywhere is in chaos - I didn't realise how much stuff I have accumulated in my airing cupboard! Perhaps I should leave it empty and use it for storing craft goodies lol.

Todays cards were made for my cutie little nephew who was 2 yesterday. Having two girls I don't 'do' boys but I decided the Celebrations papers were perfect for a toddler, bright and colourful but not babyish..

The monster's balloon is paper pieced and just a small piece of string stamped from the one in the Crazy for Cupcakes set. Had to make another one from the girls..........

Used Fox and Friends this time and I also used the monkey to stamp some wrapping paper but I forgot to take a picture He had a little party yesterday at a ball pool/play centre and I had to laugh when Isabel said it was a lot smaller than when she used to go !!! It's amazing how perception changes with age - I couldn't believe how loud it was lol !!

Printed Petals

Hello all, hope you are well

I'm still suffering with my knee but it was a good excuse to sit outside in the garden this afternoon ! Hasn't it been a beautiful week ? I love Spring and it has definitely sprung now lol !

Todays card is using a new set for me (actually it's not mine I stamped a few from Angie ) - Printed Petals.........

Colours are Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry. Sorry the En Francais writing looks smaller at the bottom, it isn't I just couldn't squat down to take a level piccie !

Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to change the clocks - an hour less in bed !

Another fun day !

Hello there

I've had another enjoyable day today because after I'd got a visit to the doctors over with, my friend Angie came round to ' play '. We covered my kitchen with SU goodies and then chatted, crafted and ate cake ! What more could a girl want lol !!!

Several hours later we decided we had better pack up before my girls were back from school - thanks Angie I really enjoyed it ( and the girls soon finished off the rest of the cake !)

Haven't taken any pics of todays efforts yet but I will show you some of the very clever swaps I received last weekend. I have got more but some contain 'top secret' ingredients so I can't show you just yet lol !

Anyway these are what the very talented ladies came up with...........

Some inspiring ideas eh ? I won't credit anyone individually (in case I miss someone ) but a very big thank you to everyone who swapped with me.

Looking at the stamping on the napkin on the last one reminds me, I have a little confession..........

At the training event we were using a new wheel (all will be revealed soon ) but I got a bit carried away and 'wheeled' Old Olive ink off the page and across the crisp, white tablecloth ! Can't take me anywhere lol ! If anyone asks I'm going to blame Nicky lol !!!

Back soon x

What a Perfect Day

Evening all,

Hope you've all had a nice day - I have had a fantastic one !

Been to my first Stampin Up regional training event at Coventry and met some lovely, creative ladies. Special hello and waves to Nicky, Terri and Sylvia, fellow newbies who kept me company.
We got to see and play with some of the amazing new goodies available to you from 1st April- unfortunately I can't show you those yet but I will show you the swap I made.

Here is the recipe on the reverse.............

and here's a few of the fronts

I've never done swapping before but it was great fun and next time I will show you some of the fab creations I received in return.

Also Hubby got to see Wolves beat local rivals Aston Villa for the first time in over 30 years so he's had a good day too !

Off to add to my wish list - its definitely got bigger after today lol !

Thank you to Paula, Charlotte and Kelly and everyone from Stampin Up for a great day.

Hiya,

Just popping in to show you a quick card so you don't think I'm neglecting you lol !

Todays colours are Concorde Crush and Melon Mambo........

Background paper is stamped from one of the flowers in the Growing Green set - this set make some beautiful backrounds and it's so quick !

Flower is made from Scalloped circle and Boho Blossom punches and a few of the gorgeous pearls to decorate.

Think this will be one to keep in for next time Sophie needs an instant card - Melon Mambo always passes the test !

One I made earlier .....

Hi all,

Not much crafting been going on this week I'm afraid - I have been suffering with an ongoing joint condition and my knee has been causing problems this week again :(

Must be bad I haven't made a card all week lol !

However I have found 'one I made earlier ' so hope this will do...........

The cake is from 'Crazy for Cupcakes' but I cut off the candle and used a circle punch to add the cherry on the top. Colours are Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze (again ).

Also thank you for the lovely comments about my flowers and I have found something else to show you .....but very few flowers!!!

The brief was to create an arrangement using fruit and/or veg with very little flower material.

So the recipe for my creation was asparagus, lemons, limes, grapes, curly parsley, cress, baby sweetcorn and some solidago. Confused yet ?

Well the idea was for it to be a fresh, citrus style arrangement with a French provencale kitchen window style feel to it..........

What do you think ?

Surprising what you can make with a few things from the supermarket !!!

Hope to get a few more cards done next week, enjoy your weekend x

Ring o' Roses

Hi all, hope you are well.

Todays card is made from the Growing Green stamp set.

I stamped and cut out the flower 7 times in Regal Rose and added a few Old Olive leaves. The sentiment is from Occasional Greetings which is a very useful set. Paper is from the never ending Paper Stack. Couldn't resist adding the Bliss butterfly.

The Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon is now retired but it is still available in loads of colours and is really easy to 'ruffle' .

When I show you what I made at floristry this week you will see where the inspiration for this card came from lol !

A hand tied posy of beautiful roses

Sooo girly and pretty aren't they ?

Now for things less pretty, I'm off to watch Wolves beat Spurs on the telly - well, fingers (and everything else ) crossed !!!

100 and not out

Evening all,
I must start with a big thank you to you ALL. Today is my 100th post and over 7000 visits so thank you , thank you, thank you to everyone that reads.

I really appreciate you stopping by and I love reading your comments. If you haven't yet said hi please don't be shy - Elaine I know you're out there lol !

More scrapbook pages today - my two little cuties pretending to be angelic

The flowers are from Vintage Vogue and I have stamped the edges of the Rich Razzleberry card with a little stamp from Tiny Tags in white ink to just soften the edges.

Reversed the colourway this time for the opposite page.

It was almost spring like today and I even ventured into the garden and cut the grass for the first time this year ! March already - do you realise we move the clocks forward this month ?

Speaking of March you may have seen that Stampin Up have reduced some items by up to 30% for March ONLY so if you would like any more information please get in touch. Also if you would like to 'Spring clean' your photo collection and turn them into a special keepsake please contact me and I'll gladly try to help.

Here's to the next 100 !!!
